Hi! I’m Nick.

I create functional landscapes using native species from the Midwest. I strive to design gardens and landscapes that support local ecosystems and serve the needs of land users. These often take the form of rain gardens, pollinator meadows, and healing gardens, but the options are limitless. I’m happy to design for residential, commercial, and public sites.

I’m based in Duluth, MN, where I volunteer as a Master Gardener and Master Naturalist. These two programs promote horticultural and environmental knowledge among Minnesotans, and require me to complete additional specialized training annually. Plus, they’re just fun!
